Grafoplast® TRASP® snap-on sleeves are the perfect choice for marking cables and wires after connection.
Solve the retrofit challenge. When wires are already terminated and you need to add or modify identification, disconnecting and reconnecting each conductor becomes impractically time-consuming. Our snap-on design features a hinged opening that allows the sleeve to close around the wire without disturbing the connection. Suitable for wire diameters from 2mm to 10mm, these sleeves prove essential for maintenance upgrades, circuit modifications, and installations where minimal downtime is critical.
The snap-on mechanism maintains the same dual-recess functionality as slide-on versions, ensuring your marking elements remain aligned and readable. Installation takes seconds per wire – open the sleeve, position it, close it around the conductor, and insert your identification.

Post-termination flexibility
Slide-on sleeves have to go on before the cable is terminated – thread them on too late and the only options are re-terminating or leaving the wire unmarked. The 300 Series TRASP® snap-on sleeve solves that by opening along a hinge, so it clips around a cable or wire that’s already connected, crimped, or run through conduit. That makes it the retrofit and correction tool of the sleeve range: labelling a panel after the fact, fixing a wire an earlier technician left unmarked, or adding identification during an audit without pulling terminations apart.
Four diameter bands cover cable OD from 2mm to 10mm, each offered in two or more sleeve lengths and pack sizes to suit everything from a single-panel touch-up to a stores restock.
The same dual-recess principle used across Grafoplast’s slide-on lines carries over here – one channel for the marking element, one for the wire – so a marking element can still be swapped later without unclipping the sleeve from the cable.
Because the sleeve has to hold its shape and grip once snapped shut rather than sliding into place under tension, it’s built to stay closed under normal handling while remaining easy to open deliberately when a cable needs re-marking.
