Terminal Block Marking

Close-up of several grey terminal blocks mounted on a metal DIN rail, each labelled with KTB5010 on white tags. The terminal blocks are arranged in a row.

The Grafoplast® range of products makes terminal block marking easy and cost effective. Choose from the Grafoplast® TRASP® manual system or print your own with the EVOMAX thermal printer.

EVOMAX Bulk Printing for Terminal Blocks

The EVOMAX thermal printer produces batch-printed terminal block markers quickly and consistently, making it the preferred choice for production panel builders and electrical contractors working at volume. Tags are printed directly onto EVO-format terminal tags designed to fit standard terminal block series from Phoenix Contact, Wago, Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB Entrelec, Weidmuller, and other major manufacturers.

Once printed, tags are applied directly to the terminal block — no hand-writing, no manual sorting, and no inconsistency across a large panel. For high-volume builds where the same markers are needed in quantity, the EVOMAX delivers a significant reduction in marking time compared to manual methods.

TRASP® Manual System

The Grafoplast® TRASP® system is a pick-and-place manual marking solution that requires no printer or computer. Pre-printed alphanumeric characters, numbers, and symbols are selected using a precision applicator tool and inserted directly into terminal block marker sleeves. Compatible with terminal blocks from all major manufacturers including Phoenix Contact, Wago, Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB Entrelec, Weidmuller, Cabur, Wieland, Legrand, Telemecanique, Woertz, and Contactclip.

TRASP® is ideal for maintenance work, custom panel builds, and on-site marking where a printer is not practical. Markers can be changed or updated in the field without reprinting, making the system particularly well suited to installations that require ongoing modifications.

Choosing the Right System

As a general guide: if you are marking fewer than 50 terminals or working on-site without access to a printer, TRASP® is the more practical choice. If you are producing panels in a workshop environment and marking 50 or more terminals at a time, the EVOMAX will deliver faster, more consistent results. Both systems produce professional, durable identification — the right choice depends on your workflow rather than the quality of the output.
